IBM Bluemix Local System

IBM doesn’t have an Intel based solution!

If you believe that, then you will be pleasantly surprised to discover that they DO HAVE a very comprehensive Intel based solution!

The IBM Bluemix Local System is the latest Intel based version of the IBM PureApplication System family.  However, it differs from past IBM PureApplication Systems in that the hardware has been separated from the software, providing a much more flexible system for configuration – at a very attractive price!  At the same time, when both are combined, you still receive the substantial benefit gained during your Cloud and Application Systems development efforts.

This separation is even more important once you have determined if your strategy for deployment is Patterns of Expertise (IBM PureApplication Software), Kubernetes-based Containers (IBM Cloud Private), or combinations of both; as you now can configure a system that has just the right amount of software to support your needs while providing the benefit of the technology behind the IBM Bluemix Local System for all of your other applications.

If this isn’t part of your deployment strategy today, the IBM Bluemix Local System can be used as a stand-alone, integrated configuration, supporting most, if not all, of your current Intel based applications.

What is the IBM Bluemix Local System?
